Part One
Purchase the ingredients for the non-perishable soup recipe listed below. 
Drop the soup ingredients at any of the following locations between
January 2 and 18, 2026, or bring your donation to the
Meal Assembly event on January 19th. 
(The soup recipe provides much nutrition for a family in need supported at Community Sharing Outreach Center, in Highland, while costing less than $10.)

January 19th ~ 5 to 8 pm
Meal Assembly @ The Warehouse at River's Edge

Bring the entire family to celebrate MLK Day by giving back to those in need.




“Tortilla Soup”
15oz can whole kernel corn
28 or 32oz cans or container chicken broth
12 or 12..5 oz canned chicken breast
15 oz can black beans
10 oz can Rotel w/green chilis
Option: tortilla strips or chips
