Meal Assembly

On MLK Day, the HVMLK Day Committee hosts a gathering of families to create a special meal for families less fortunate. Dulring the month of January ingredients for the meal are collected.

March on Main

The HVMLK Day Committee arranges for a march through Milford, MI, along Main Street, on the Sunday before MLK Day.

Art Contest

The HVMLK Day Committee sponsors an art, poetry, music and multimedia contest to engage students and the community in celebration of Martin Luther King Day.

Film Appreciation

The HVMLK Day Committee sponsors a film at the Milford Cinema every year in January, just prior to the March on Main Street weekend.
