Soup Ingredients Collection
& Meal Assembly

All area residents were invited to observe the MLK Day National Day of Service by donating special non-perishable soup ingredients to assist local families in need.  Red bins from the local food pantry, Community Sharing Outreach Center (CS), were placed throughout Milford and Highland to collect donations.

The HV MLK Day Committee invited everyone to participate in assembling the soup ingredients into individually decorated bags.  The Meal Assembly was held on Monday, January 17, 2022 at The Suzanne Haskew Arts Center.

Alternatively, some families opted to decorate bags and assemble their soup meal donations at home, dropping off their donation at The SHAC.
